XtremeConditioning's Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund (Partnered with Red Cross)

Hello everyone. I guess I'll just get to the point. As you know, Hurricane Sandy devastated the east coast. About two days after the storm was over, I thought about starting some sort of fundraiser. At first, I didn't really know how to go about it. I didn't know how it worked, how I would collect money, or even how I could get people to donate to such a small fundraiser. I also thought to myself, "what if someone thinks that I am making a fake fundraiser, and after I've collected the money, I take it and run"?

Well, Indiegogo just fixed all of my problems. I had known about sites like Indiegogo for a while, but I really didn't know how they worked. In fact, I kinda drew a blank when it came to how I would come up with funds. Initially, I set up my fundraiser, etc. Then, about an hour later, I found out that I could contact Indiegogo support and have them send all of my funds to the Red Cross.  That's exactly what I did. They got back to me in about a day and yes, they agreed to partner me with Red Cross Disaster Relief. This means that 100% of the money raised will go straight to the red cross after the fundraiser ends. After that, Indiegogo will charge a rate of about 3-9% for all funds raised. Say what you want about the Red Cross, but if anyone is benefited by these funds, I'll feel like I helped, and you should too!

The 100% of funds only lasts until November 30th, so I would hope to have the bulk of the funds by that date. That way, the charges from Indiegogo will be minimal. As of today (Nov. 11), my fundraiser will be running for 43 more days. It should be noted that even after November 30th, all funds are going DIRECTLY to the Red Cross, I DO NOT get to see that money, so this ensures you can trust my fundraiser. Don't believe me? Go to the link below, you'll see that I'm partnered with Red Cross. Hopefully, November 30th will be plenty of time to get the bulk of the funds, as well as raising my initial $1000 goal, but I would love to be able to raise quite a bit more than that. Please, share this fundraiser with your friends and family! It would mean a lot to me, knowing I was able to help fund recovery from this disaster.

Again, please share this with your friends and family and help support recovery! Thank you.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED!
You may not want to trust fundraisers that are NOT on this page on Indiegogo! http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sandy

The fundraisers, organizations, etc listed on that group of campaigns are legitimate and verified as Non-profits by the Indiegogo staff, just like mine. If you see a campaign that is not verified as either non-profit or not on the list of "Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief" found on that web page, you should be cautioned not to donate to them. They may not be reputable and could have the ability to take your money and run. So please, be careful. Again, please donate to my Sandy fundraiser, it would mean a lot! Thank you for your time and donations.
